Paddleboard

Stand Up Paddleboarding, (SUP) is a great way to get on the water and is a truly accessible water sport for all. Being out on the water allows you to see your surroundings from a new perspective and is a great way to unwind after a stressful day at work. It’s also a great way of improving core strength, balance and overall general fitness. Our courses are run across multiple locations from our Hampshire and North Devon bases. This allows us greater flexibility in choosing the best location for the weather conditions on the day. Find out more about paddleboarding in North Devon and Hampshire by clicking on the appropriate links.

All our courses are taught by hand-picked experienced instructors using the latest equipment and are run in small groups for maximum progression and safety. If you’d prefer a more private experience, we offer both a couples and family option. This follows the same format as our beginners’ course but is run on a private basis which allows us to create a bespoke paddleboarding experience that is tailored around your group. To make this experience even more memorable, choose the photos option during booking for high quality pictures of your lesson.

Beginner Lessons

Our introductory beginner paddleboard course follows the British Stand Up Paddleboard, (BSUPA) teaching scheme.

We begin with the very basics on dry land covering equipment, basic weather and how to choose a safe location. Once on the water, we’ll cover paddling technique, different types of turns, self-rescue and how to fall safely. You’ll then have the rest of the session to put these skills to the test and perhaps even go on a short SUP journey exploring one of our exciting locations in Hampshire or North Devon.

Our courses are run in groups of up to 6. For couples or families wanting a more private and bespoke course we offer private lessons for both couples and families.
