About Us

During the British summer we are based at 24-7 Boardsports that is situated in a unique position on the shores of the Solent.

Known for being one of the Top locations on the South coast due to its huge flat water lagoon and consistent side shore winds this is a fantastic place to learn. The flat water shallow lagoons that form at low tide are an ideal setting to give you a safe environment in which to progress your kiteboarding skills. We also have the added advantage of being on a private site meaning we rarely experience problems of overcrowding that so many other nearby areas face.

Whether you are a complete novice or seasoned rider you can rely on us for all your KiteSurf needs with tuition available daily from our friendly and professional team.

Meet the team

Paul has had a love of Watersports from an early age and growing up on the North Devon coast almost certainly helped. His very first watersports job was teaching kayaking to school groups whilst home from university during the summer months. Upon completing his degree in Outdoor education he qualified as a Kitesurf Instructor in 2005 in Australia during a round the world trip.  Since then he has taught in most corners of the globe including South Africa, India and New Zealand clocking up well over 10,000hrs of teaching experience and introducing thousands of people in to the sport. A member of the BKSA training team he is also responsible for Kiteschool Inspections & Instructor revalidation throughout the UK. Paul has a real passion for teaching with a relaxed and friendly approach and loves nothing more than seeing people progress.

Alice the golden retriever is the newest member of our team and just loves everyone she meets. She also happens to love the water and is currently undergoing some paddleboard training and is sure to be a regular on our SUP trips this summer! Just like her owner, Paul she likes to have everything in order and rest assured if you leave anything lying around on the beach Alice will most likely have fetched it.

Jaimie is qualified as a BKSA L1 Kitesurf Instructor and is a true people person and a natural teacher. She excels at working with people who may be feeling a little bit nervous, instantly putting them at ease. Jaimie takes a concientious approach to her teaching and places great emphasis on safety, whilst ensuring lessons remain lots of fun. When not teaching Jaimie can often be found on or in the water, and has recently got in to cold water swimming.

We first met Aly in 2014 when she came along for an introductory paddleboard lesson with us. Since then she has paddled in many locations around the UK, building up a wealth of experience and has recently become our newest SUP instructor.  When not on the water, Aly spends her time making costumes for the entertainment industry as well as recently launching her own range of beach robes. She is also really into her Ice hockey and plays for the Oxford Midnight Stars.

Maria has been teaching paddleboarding since 2014. A parent herself, Maria works really well with our younger customers, maintaining a great balance between teaching new skills but also keeping things fun. She also works very well with our older clients helping to build confidence for those that are perhaps a bit nervous in taking to the water for the first time. In her spare time Maria also works at the local yacht club as well as teaching swimming.

John is a BKSA qualified Level 1 kitesurf instructor and super friendly Instructor. If you are lucky enough to get him as your instructor, be sure to ask him about his adventures as he has lots of great stories, from traveling across Europe in his campervan on a kitesurf adventure to volunteering at a big game park in Africa. In his spare time John runs a landscape & gardening business, and is also an avid writer, with one published book called 'adventures in happiness' and various articles featured in campervan and adventure styled magazines.
